Tallie Wigs is a private shop on W 3rd St in Los Angeles, minutes from Cedars-Sinai. Many of our clients come to us during chemotherapy, with alopecia, or after other medical hair loss. We fit each wig by hand, in a quiet one-on-one room, so you can try on, ask questions and leave with hair that looks and feels like your own. When a wig is medically necessary, it may qualify as a cranial prosthesis, and we help with the paperwork your insurance asks for.
Every piece is 100% human hair. Our Luxury Human Hair Wigs are made for a natural, undetectable everyday look, and our Virgin Human Hair Wigs use untreated hair for the softest movement and the longest life. If you want something made only for you, a custom wig is built to your head measurements, density, color and part, then cut and styled on you at your fitting. We also offer human hair toppers for thinning at the crown or part.
For women who cover their hair, we also create sheitels and kallah sheitels with the same private, hand-fitted care.

Yes. Medical clients are a large part of our work. We fit wigs for chemotherapy, alopecia and other medical hair loss, and when a wig is medically necessary we help with the cranial prosthesis paperwork your insurance asks for.
How long does a custom wig take?
Timing depends on the wig. Ready-to-wear wigs can often be cut and styled at your fitting, while a custom wig takes longer to build. We give you a clear timeline at your Private Fitting.
