Accessibility Statement

Tallie Wigs (sheitels.com) wants every visitor, including people with disabilities and people experiencing medical hair loss, to be able to browse our wigs, learn about our services, and book a consultation with ease.

Our goal

We aim for our website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have limited movement, or have cognitive or learning disabilities.

What we have done

  • The site can be used with a keyboard alone, starting with a "Skip to content" link, and keyboard focus is clearly visible.
  • Text colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Images have text alternatives, and buttons and links have clear names, including our WhatsApp contact button.
  • Pages declare their language and use headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
  • We test the site with automated tools (axe-core and Google Lighthouse) and with keyboard-only checks.

Known limitations

Some features come from third-party providers, such as review widgets, the Instagram feed, booking and calendar tools, maps, and checkout. We do not fully control these, but we work with the providers and look for accessible alternatives when we find problems. We are also adding descriptive alternative text to our older product photos.
